The Critical Change
This installation “The Critical Change” represents a conceptual but subtle suggestion in the form of a socially conscious, subliminal abstraction. The design is meant to draw attention to the issue without actually needing to spell it out. It is meant to permeate on a sub-conscious level. To remind. The dimension of the design makes this signal ever present. The signal is dramatic, but as transparent as water itself.
The shape underscores the necessity of a “change in consciousness” on a site that underscores the issue. The ever-flowing signal is in parallel harmony with the ever- flowing rivers. The consonance/dissonance of the architecture is an ever present beacon to humanity’s challenge of the every day issues involving our planet-hood.
